Appointments
Appointments are reserved in precise time increments to ensure an efficient and seamless experience for every guest.
All scheduling is easily accessible through the online booking system. This provides real-time availability and ensures accuracy.
Appointments may be scheduled in studio at checkout, if the client chooses too. After that, all future scheduling and appointment adjustments is completed online.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to adjust your appointment, we kindly ask that all changes be made online at least one day before your scheduled service.

Same-Day Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled or rescheduled on the same day of your service will be subject to a 50% fee for original scheduled services. Changes made within one hour of the scheduled appointment time are considered a missed appointment and will result in a 100% fee for the original scheduled services.
This policy allows us to offer availability to other clients while honoring the time reserved for you.

Late Arrival
Appointments are reserved in specific time blocks.
Late arrivals may require adjustment or rescheduling in order to respect the next guest’s reserved time.
If you are running late, please communicate as soon as possible. Clients who arrive late, miss their appointment, or cancel without adequate notice will be charged the full service fee.
Please note that this fee still applies even if the appointment is rescheduled for later the same day, as that time was originally held for you.
We appreciate your understanding and respect for our schedule and the time of other clients.

Preferred Client Pricing
Preferred Client Pricing is reserved for guests who maintain their appointments within 4–6 weeks.
Appointments scheduled outside of this timeframe will reflect standard pricing.
The 4–6 week window is calculated from the date of your last completed appointment with Lizzy Lou’s Waxing.

Card on File
A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointments.
Cards are securely stored through the booking system and are not charged unless a late cancellation or no-show occurs.
Appointments cannot be held without a card on file.
To protect the security of our clients’ payment information, credit cards are only accepted through our secure online booking system. For this reason, we are unable to take credit card information over the phone.
If you would like to add a card to your file, it may be securely added in person during checkout.

Forms
New clients must complete the waxing consent form prior to arrival. Appointments may be delayed if required forms are incomplete.

Medications That May Prevent Waxing
Certain medications can make the skin more sensitive or fragile and may increase the risk of irritation or skin lifting during waxing. Please review the chart below and inform your provider if any apply to you.

Facial Medications
Any medications or topical treatments used on the face must be discontinued prior to facial waxing, even if they are applied to a different area than the one being waxed. Many facial medications affect the skin as a whole and may increase sensitivity or the risk of irritation during waxing.
Please discontinue any retinol products for 7–10 days.
These medications may thin or sensitize the skin and increase the risk of irritation or skin lifting during waxing.

Isotretinoin Accutane, Claravis, Absorica Wait 6–12 months after discontinuing before waxing
Tretinoin Retin-A Stop use on treatment area 5–7 days before waxing
Adapalene Differin Stop use on treatment area 5–7 days before waxing
Tazarotene Tazorac Stop use on treatment area 5–7 days before waxing
Benzoyl Peroxide Various acne treatments Avoid use on treatment area 2–3 days before waxing
Prednisone Various Skin may be fragile while taking this medication; waxing may need to be postponed
Doxycycline Various May increase skin sensitivity and sun sensitivity
Minocycline Various May increase skin sensitivity
Important:
If you are unsure whether your medication may affect waxing services, please consult your prescribing provider or inform your esthetician prior to your appointment.
Your provider may modify or postpone a waxing service if the skin is not suitable for safe treatment.

Minor Client Policy
To maintain professional boundaries and ensure the highest level of care, intimate waxing services are offered only to female clients 18 years and older.
This includes bikini front, brazilian, buttocks, and nipple waxing.
Clients under 18 are welcome to book facial or underarm waxing services with a signed parent or guardian consent form.

Menstruation policy
You can still wax if you are menstrating. We ask that you please have a clean tampon or vaginal cup inserted.
We understand that not everyone is comfortable with waxing during this time but please be as mindful as possible and plan accordingly.

Emergencies
We understand that emergencies happen . If a true emergency has occured please call or text us. If a pattern or reoccurring cancellations occurs, know that the service provider has the right to discontinue the business relationship at any time
